“A Weird Exits”
2016 Castleface Records
Check out the latest record from Thee Oh Sees. This is a solid record that contains many of the desirable elements of their past records, but with movements in different directions keeping the listener guessing and the music interesting. Some of the stand out songs include “Jammed Entrance,” a trippy instrumental; “Plastic Plant,” a full sounding prog-style tune; “Gelatinous Cube,” a fast-paced and noisy rockin’ song; and “The Axis,” a sort of Pink Floyd-esque tune with a distinct John Dwyer feedback guitar solo taking it to a different plateau altogether.
